Joseph DeSena is President and a Director of Burlington Capital Markets. Mr. DeSena developed a number of successful entrepreneurial ventures, and sold his interest in such businesses in 1994. He worked at Furman Selz as a trader from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, DeSena joined Burlington Capital Markets as head trader. Joe is a graduate of Cornell University, where he won the Entrepreneurship Award at Cornell Graduate School of Business. Mr. DeSena is also the resident of IncuLab, Inc.

As a new comer to the sport of adventure racing, Joe has quickly gained recognition and credibility within the sport. An athlete and competitor his entire life both on and off the course, Joe has a strong background and interest in the mental discipline of athletics and the importance of nutrition in competition. His experience in running, vision and strong mental determination, has been a source of energy for his fellow adventure racing teammates.
