Entry Fees
Expedition BVI registration opened Monday July 30th 2001. 50 team slots are available for this 2001 world-class adventure race in the Caribbean. A waiting list will be maintained as we anticipate the 50 spots being filled rather quickly. Please note that waiting list teams will be selected based on their place in line as opposed to resume.
Entry Fees are as follows:
Cost of entry is $2,250 per Athlete. We require co-ed teams of 4 to be eligible to participate in Expedition BVI. Teams that would like to provide their own skipper for the sailing portions of the race are allowed to do so. That person will be required to have a Yacht Master certification. A certified skipper will otherwise be provided by the race organization

Entry fee includes the following:
- Team entry into Expedition BVI
- Team Eligibility for $125,000 in prize money
- An 8 day / 7 night accommodation, per team, at the beautiful Prospect Reef Resort in Tortola, British Virgin Islands (Room selection is not available - but don't worry all the rooms are beautiful). Feel free to visit Prospect Reef at www.prospectreef.com. You will be given your room information 2 to 3 weeks upon your team registration confirmation. These rooms will act as team storage facilities during the race. Hence, you will not have to keep lugging your stuff around.
- Ground transportation - cabs and vans to and from the airport, ferry shuttles from Island to Island.
- Expedition BVI Hydro T's provided by RailRiders www.railriders.com

* Please note that some items are subject to change depending upon product availability and inventory constraints.
IMPORTANT: Your registration will not be official until we receive a non-refundable deposit of $500 US Dollars. If a deposit is not received the team slot will be forfeited. Just submitting an application without the deposit will not guarantee your team an entry. You will receive an email or phone call to confirm the receipt of your entry within 48 hours of it arriving in our office. Once your team has received an official entry confirmation an entry fee payment schedule will be sent to your attention.
