This is a recent 1998 book that seems to have been overlooked in our review columns, and is authored by long-time member Charles Kliment who has presented us with the in-depth article on the OT-810 in this very issue. For those who have a passion, or just a deep interest in the 38(t) chassis in WW2, this will solve many of the riddles. The bi-lingual text balance is perfect, with a total English translation and not just dribs and drabs of it. The book starts with the early 1935 transactions with Iran and ends with there use in the Czech Army after WW2 has ended.
It is hard to point to anything that has been overlooked by these authors, right down to Pz.38(t) turrets as part of the Atlantic Wall fortifications. Thorough coverage of the Praga TNH n.A/PzKpfw. 38(t) n. A. Photos are large, crisp and clear and pretty well all new to my old eyes. One excellent sharp photo is a high angle shot of the 38(t) fitted out with the AP-1 floatation gear, and it looks like a corvette ready for action!
I suggest you search it out at better hobby shops, since it appears to be marketed by Zenith Books (Motorbooks international) of Osceolla, Wisconsin.
