This is an extremely well-produced book giving comprehensive coverage of the Czech vz.35 medium tank. Crammed into, but tastefully presented is a dual Czech/English text, lots of black and white photos, original handbook illustrations, excellent scale drawings and colour profiles of representative Czech and German vehicles and a vehicle interior are provided. The Czech designed LT vz.35 equipped their armoured divisions at the beginning of W WWII and was considered good enough by the German conquerors to add to their arsenal, along with the vz.38, both products of the big Skoda organisation.
Produced for enthusiasts (and modellers) by enthusiasts' just shouts at you from page one, this being the kind of book we all like to see - producing a wellresearched, solid monograph and drawing on original research. The scale drawings, so necessary to modellers, are to a constant 1:35 scale and there's six pages of them in Czech and German army guisesLT vz.35, PzKpfw 35(t), Panzerbefehlswagon 35(t), R-2, R-11, Morserzugmittel 35(t) and R-2 Tacam self propelled gun ... worth the £6.50 cover price alone!
Stowage, camouflage and markings, interiors, a full production list, you name it, it's here; there's even scale drawings of a vz.35 turret and its Atlantic Wall installation included.
For me it's the best value for money publication on a single vehicle I've seen since the 'old Profile Publications' days! Buy it while you can, serious students of armour shouldn't be without it on their shelves and modellers will just love it! So reasonably priced for what's included and very highly recommended.
