How does LizACTS choose volunteer activities?
The Liz Claiborne volunteer program - LizACTS - is an associate-led program. Our LizACTS team leaders carefully select volunteer activities that serve women and their families and are related to the team's specific issue area of interest. Leaders research nonprofits and their programs, and then select volunteer activities based on the needs of the community, along with recommendations and input from their associate colleagues.

Liz Claiborne strictly enforces a no-solicitation policy at all of our facilities. Any organization that is interested in approaching Liz Claiborne for volunteers should contact the Liz Claiborne Foundation.

Does Liz Claiborne provide scholarships to students?
Liz Claiborne does not provide tuition assistance or scholarships to the general public. The Liz Claiborne Inc. Scholarship Program is set up to benefit the children of our associates. Instituted in 2002, the program provides one-time scholarships to the children of Liz Claiborne associates who have demonstrated especially outstanding academic achievement. For more information, please see the section titled, "For Our Associates".

Does Liz Claiborne provide grants to support individuals in financial need?
As a policy, the Liz Claiborne Foundation and Liz Claiborne Inc. can only award grants and merchandise to qualified nonprofit organizations. We never make these contributions for, or on behalf of, specific individuals.

How does Liz Claiborne donate merchandise?
Our merchandise donations further Liz Claiborne's philanthropic interests in three discrete ways. We give to clothing banks in some of our major operating areas; we support certain programs for women; and we respond to requests made by our associates who volunteer with qualified nonprofit organizations. For a full program description, please refer to the Merchandise Donations section.
